Hospitality operations & people development
I'm Florian-Cristian. I help independent hospitality venues across North London strengthen their teams, sharpen their service and make clearer commercial decisions.
My journey in hospitality began at the age of 14, when I started gaining practical experience alongside my studies at hospitality college. Since then, I've worked across five-star hotels, restaurants and high-end private members' venues, learning what exceptional hospitality takes both in front of guests and behind the scenes.
For nearly seven years, I managed a premium café and deli within an exclusive private members' workspace, overseeing daily operations, team development, rotas, suppliers, purchasing, stock, menu development and guest experience. Working on busy restaurant floors also shaped my approach to service excellence, coaching and consistency.
Alongside that hands-on experience, I completed Business Management studies with Distinction and earned SCA barista certification. I focus on practical improvements that help teams work confidently, make service more consistent and support healthier businesses.
Three examples of the operational problems I've worked on before founding FCS.
Developed cold-pressed juices and smoothies through research, recipe testing, costing, purchasing, procedures and menu launch.
Identified an underused area and helped develop an additional coffee operation to improve service flow and guest experience.
Negotiated with suppliers, monitored stock and used onboarding, coaching and daily briefings to support more consistent operations.
I combine hands-on hospitality leadership with business-management thinking. My approach starts with understanding the real venue: its people, its service and the numbers behind each shift.
Listen to you, look at your actual routine and review the information you can share—sales mix, costs, workflow and team habits.
Agree a short list of improvements by likely impact, effort and feasibility. Focused priorities, not paperwork for its own sake.
Help build the checklists, training routines and operating standards that can work even when you're not on shift.
We're interested in what happens after the advice. The goal is a business that runs more consistently, treats its people well and protects its margins.
